Question: Can the Sony HDR-CX405 camera provide a CLEAN HDMI output?

Answer: YES it can!

Here’s how…

Goto the MENU then to SETUP then scroll down to “CTRL FOR HDMI” and turn this feature OFF.

This will disable the character overlays on the HDMI output and provide you a CLEAN HDMI picture.
